I believe any of them are bypassable as long as you use the correct componets .

regular in dash dvd players are all bypassable. its the ones with the gps.navigation that are kinda difficult to bypass. the avic n 2 pioneer , you have to drop solder and jump the 2 posts under that silver sticker, avic n 3 you have to just pulse the lights in the very start up of the unit when it says " starting navigation"

the regular ones are only e brake that needs to be grounded, what i usually do is just to run a bypass to the ground and a hidden switch for it. just in case a cop sees me and i have to bypass right away ,

I'm not sure about the others but the Alpine I have, IVA-D310, you have to hold the foot brake and engage the parking brake twice to deactivate the safety. So with the switch you just touch the brake and toggle the switch twice. Also another thing I've noticed on mine is not only is dvd video playback attached to this safety but so are most of the menus. With the safety on you only get a few setup menus but as soon as you deactivate the safety a bunch more pop up. About 75% of them are locked down until you do so to prevent you making those changes while driving.

I have the D-1 in my Acura, so hot, wanted to know if I could fit it in the Evo when I get it and looking at this threat, should be able to!
