yeah the n1 is just ground
the n2 ground and there is a silver dont tamper with me sticker that you peel back and either solder or somehow connect the 2 pins that are back there. i hear you can do it with a "add a circuit pen" all other countries get the system where you can drive with a dvd playing.

eclipse has nice stuff but im not sure if it needs to be bypassed or if it can be.

Same for the Alpines. Ground the wire that is supposed to be hooked to the hand brake and put a toggle switch between the a/v unit and where you ground it. Kinda like:

a/v box------------(toggle switch)---------------ground

(I take no responsibility for what you do with this and recommend that you only watch the dvd player when stopped )

I mounted a small toggle switch between the hand brake and the cup holder.

Did you drill a hole or just run it up the side or something? I have mine just kinda laying on the floor between the console and the drivers seat because I can't decide where I want it and whether or not to make it permenant. Have any pics?

ie start t he car
turn on AV system
hit toggle to on
im not a car audio person
its just that my gf like it when i had my PSP dash mounted and run through the system so she can watch stuff while i drive somewhere

The toggle switch is for the DVD player. I think it's "switch off", the DVD player is in Blue screen mode (can't play while in Motion). "Switch up" is in play mode where you can play while in motion. It's basically for people that don't want to get hassled by cops. I don't know what other states but Cali has a law where you can't play any movies while in motion. Don't know about Navi though...
