Pioneer AVIC-D2

Trying to find out whether its worth picking this up. I'd be using it just for navi/watching movies basically...I'd also be picking up the Orbital HVAC reloc kit. Any opinions? Any other comparable navi's out there in this price range? I would love the Z1 but I probably wouldn't use all its fancy features...

Only downside is I'd have to pick up some gauges as I wouldn't be interested in relocating the factory gauge kit anywhere.

I have the D2 and it works great. However, the base unit will not play movies. The only way to play movies in the D2 is to buy the optional DVD-changer/player, and hook up the video through the D2 video/accessory cables. It may be cheaper and more compact to go with the Z1 (or Eclipse) if movies are really important to you.
