I installed an AVIC-N2 in my evo but I'm having problems finding the VSS wire. I used the ecu pin out diagram on RRE's site but it's for an 03 evo. I tried anyway to wire to the point indicated but it wouldn't learn. Those familiar with this unit may know that it needs some time to "learn" before it goes into 3d hybrid mode. When I removed the VSS wire it learned but it's staying on simple hybrid. Is the VSS point different on the 05 evo's?

not sure about the location but on the unit itself u go into hardware connection status and it will show if u have it connected properly. The vss should be somewhere in the ecu diagram. the 05 should be the same as an 03
