hi all.....i have a ssl in my 05....and i would like to keep the ssl sub box...and i just replace the woofer???or i have to knock it off in order to replace it.....????thx

 

LOL, I went through that question some time ago. The driver on the SSL sub box is an 8" almost flat sub, I don't think there is an aftermarket sub that will fit the box. Do what I did and replace the whole system, no SSL sound on my Evo anymore.

 

really that kinda sucks, cuz i was going to do that too...

 

for real man...thats really suck ...i really like the ssl sub box...hey but i remember read a quote that someone put a 8'' polk woofer in it???im not sure....just want to comfirm ,,,,
