need help on finding the right speakers

how do you guys choose the right speakers for my car? i been a fan of bass on my other car i never cared for components. now i got an evo i dont really want to add any extra wait to the car so i just want to and some top of the line components but i dont know how to read the specs on components. i was planning to get the infinity kappa perfect for the front and kappa 3 way for the rear but i want to know if there is any thing that is better out there?

go to your local shops and listen to the speakers you are interested before you go and buy anything.

+1! Speaker sound is subjective, and everyone has their opinion. I personally think there are better speakers out there, but that's my opinion. I have Alpine Type-X comps in my car right now. I'm pondering replacing them with JL XR comps, which are just sitting in my garage. Either of these speakers sound great in our cars with the right power (50-75 watts per side). Anyway, go to a store and check some speakers out before buying.
