Ok, I'm an audio noobie! I want to bring out the sound of my stock speakers...I have an aftermarket deck which is a jvc unit that is a few years old. I'm thinking of putting a 2-channel 200 watt amp in to bring out the sound. Is this crazy or should I just get new speakers....I dont have the SSL package or anything so that isn't a concern. I'm not terribly worried about bass, but I'm thinking that doing this could potentially blow out the stockers.

 

i think you should get new aftermarket speaker.... i dont think the stock will hold up a 200 watt amp. its going to get blown
