V1 integrated into rear-view mirror

^ its cool but only downside is that is JUST the display (in the mirror). Meaning you still need a whole v1 unit to detect radar. If your v1 is gonna be on the dash is pretty useless to have a display in your mirror when you can jjust look at the v1. ONly way I would see it to benifit would be mounting the v1 "hiddin" in the back deck and using the rear view mirror display. but your looking at $400(v1) + $500(mirror). Heres a cheeper solution then the Ebay one;

Is that exclusively for the BMW, or for all cars?

i am not sure. I would think he can do this to any mirror. The one in the picture actually looks like a mitsu one lol. Doesnt hurt to ask

I know AI in NYC used to do this mod for a lot more money. They usually cater to high end customers though.

there's a great how to somewhere on here about hiding the V1 on your rear deck and replacing your clock with the remote display...looks amazing!

I have seen this mirror in person...it's hawtness! The display disappears completely when you dim the display/turn off the detector. The originator of this process would do it to any mirror in the beginning...don't know if ECIS will do the same...
