What To do with the Extra outputs

Ok I just installed my New Viper 719xv alarm, didn't do the remote start because i can't get that feature to work if i have the turbo timer bypass installed, and plus I don't feel like bypassing the Key transponder thing. But anyway The alarm has alot of extra channels, 3 to be exact. Now i got a relay left over, so what would be kinda cool to have remotely activated? Other than the Trunk release (need to buy selonoid for that) And the windows (don't want to accidentally roll down the Windows) .

i installed a trunk solenoid on my car, it was only about $15 and i love it. took me about 2 hours of sitting in the trunk to find a nice place to mount it and then attach the pull cable. can i ask why you went with the 791xv if you don't plan on using the remote start feature? you could've saved a few bucks and went with the 571XV or 5000 (or the new 5002) and still have all the same features plus more output channels to play around with.

well, I am Kinda dumb and hurry up to wait kinda person. I figure the remote start would be cool. So i got it. Then I realized the immobilizer had to be disabled. I don't want to loose security for the sake of comfort, although all you have to do to hot wire the evo is ground the Red wire on the Immobilizer. And then jump the ignition pins. But anyway where did you mount the Trunk solenoid? I was thinking of that but not sure where i would mount it.

Since i was installing my alarm it took me all of 20 minutes to figure out how to wire and install it.

I bought mine at commando alarms and the cost of the kit was 19.99 plus tax.

Yep, I found it. But i am a little confused on mitsus, thinking about this one. I suppose it there for the case that you get stuck in the trunk, but how does one manage to get stuck in his trunk.

I used drill screws when putting this guy in but be SURE HOW LONG your screws are or maybe you'll find you poked a hole in your trunk. I have a collection of really short drill screws so that was ideal for me :P

here's how i installed my trunk solenoid. it took me two hours because i wanted a really clean installation. i also had to figure out a way to have the cable securely mounted and still pull at an angle. what i did was take an old heater control cable (a bicycle brake cable should work too) and cut it apart to take the shielding off

better view of how i mounted it

close up of how i connected the cable to the latch using the supplied hook. i actually hooked it around the latch where the ball is (coming out of the pink piece)

um, I am not saying i plan on kidnaping people or anything, but if your were going to kidnap someone wouldn't you simply cut the handle off? Just i am finding it kinda stupid but ok.
