I was wondering if the pioneer avic n3(really any headunit with a motorized lcd screen) would work with a radio relcation kit out there. Most of the kits have the unit recessed and i think it might interfere with the motorized screen. If anyone has any advice or info on whether this setup would cause a problem would be appreciated.

 

i have the alpine iva-d300 it extends out about an inch further if you want. the main problem will be running into is that you will have to angle the screen forward to use the relocation kit. plus you also run into the screen with your hand somtimes... no bueno for touch screens

thanks shizzle. anyone else have any ideas? i have a gauge pod that goes where the cubby hole is and they stick out further and i wanted to go with a different setup. anyone make a kit where the radio sticks out further like the pod. If not i might try to make my own lol
