something has gone crazy with my windshield wipers... its at the off position and somehow it started to turn on by itself and wipes for about 3-4 times then stop.. 5 minutes later it does it again! and the wiper switch is OFF. WTF is going on here?!?!

 

Coud be a possible short to power somewhere. Does it happen just randomly while driving or when you do something else (like turn on blinkers)?

 

BBYbruno had same problem, check his thread....I think he took it to a dealership, and I wasn't updated on what happened next

 

Sounds like the wiper controller thinks you used your windshield wiper fluid. Take it to the dealership.

 

haven't heard of the problem but i know the thread title sure got my attention.......
