Alpine deck with SSL

I'm a total newb. Based primarily on budget, I'm going to buy the Alpine cde-9870. I've found the SSL cabling link, what I'd like to know is if this stereo will work with the SSL setup based on number of pre-outs and so forth. Is there an Alpine-Ipod friendly deck that I need to look at minimally if there is a requirement for pre-outs or other?
Thanks in advance

Jeff

Thanks for the link, this is the cable that I'll need. Another question I have related to this is do I need to splice anything or is this cable plug and play and all I need?
My original question, which I think the answer is 'NO', is; Does the headunit I select have to have minimum output/rca connections to work with this setup?

Thanks

Try this one is just a little more expensive and comes with 2 pairs of RCA outputs.

Thanks much for the info, sounds like I need a minimum of 2 rca outputs? I apologize for beating this to death....
