Ill post pics of my setup... For everyones info ... I have the Bell RX75Plus.. comes complete with 3 laser jammers.. 2 up front 1 in the rear and one radar detector also mounted up front. I have mounted mine tho underneath the front bumper. The jammers deffinateley work as i have been hit with Lasers many times. Key is make sure you turn it off as you approach a acceptable speed because the cops will eventually know u have a jammer when they fail to get a speed off you.

 

they can hit you behind, but not by radar...When i cop snuck up on me from behind he said he used his speed and matched mine then pulled me over..

Wrong. Have you been ignoring my kind and wise words of wisdom up above. They can tag you from behind with anything. He paced you probably because his cruiser wasnt equiped with a radar unit. Pacing is also legal and it holds in court unless you can really disprove him.

 

My girlfriend works for a company here in GA that sells laser equipment to police all over the country. She talked to one of the engineers today and he said the blockers work but if a cop gets a jammed reading too often or too long from one car he will give you a ticket for jamming. Just thought I would share that with you guys.

 

Last I checked, laser jammer is legal in all 50 states. You are not breaking any FCC laws for disrupting equipment in your vicinity, you are simply emitting light pulses upon being struck by such pulses.

But regardless... as I said earlier... the idea is to be AWARE you are being hit with laser, to SLOW DOWN, and then to TURN OFF your jammer. The officer is none the wiser.

 

I bought a LaserPro Bel 904. I had it in the box for over a year until I got tagged by a laser one day in my commute to work .... Anyway, I took the thing to an installer and several days and about $300 later, I had this installation....

I don't know if it works, but I've had the detector go off a few times with the GHP around and I did not get stopped......

 

In NY its legal to use a radar detector, however it is not legal to use any device that may tamper with the cops equipment. So jammers in NY are not a good idea.

 

This is for LASER jammers... Radar jammers are ILLEGAL in all 50 states because they violate FCC regulations

 

Well, technically PASSIVE radar jammers are legal, but they don't work because of the simple fact that they only "jam" after they detect something it thinks is worth jamming. Active radar is illegal because I heard it would make those automatic doors and a slew of other FCC legal stuff stop working as you drive within range......lol.....wouldn't that be funny as hell......back into a parking spot at Walgreens and watch people try to get in and out and the door not work

 

I did some research on jammers a while ago, and it was found that the LED based ones weren't powerful enough to consistently work. IR LEDs just can't emit enough energy to jam a laser gun unless the gun is directly in front of the jammers. Maybe you'll have different results though.

There are a couple laser jammers out there that use IR lasers (similar to the ones used in optical laser mice) to jam since lasers are a lot more powerful than LEDs.

IR light is governed by the FDA so laser jamming is legal in a lot of states, but is still illegal in some. I know CA and Washington DC are two of the places that it's illegal. Wouldn't be too surprised if NY was on that list as well.

nice install Does it have a switch to turn off the jammer seperatly while keeping the radar on? Only experience I have had with jammers or "blockers" is the K40 caliber system and we will be testing it soon. Only thing i think all these units block are laser signals.
