I think I have a short
Hey guys,
I recently took out a greddy EBC and ever since my car has been acting up. The defi's turn off then back on, and when i turn the car off the headlights blink along with the dome light and defi control unit.....also makes a clicking sound. Any idea as to what this may be. Oh yeah....my battery is getting drained also.

I think I have a short...
I was wondering if you check to see if you have any bent pins on the ECU? maybe check to see if you have a rub on the wires at the ECU. If not, look for the short in the head light system, disconnect the headlights, pull fuses, relays. That might help.
Was the EBC connected to the headlight circuit? (Some guages, stereos, etc. connect to the headlights so their display will dim when the headlights are on at night.)
If so, then maybe the wire that was tapped for that is shorting out and causing the headlight relays to turn on. I am still a bit stumpped about the dome light, but I would check all the wires that were tapped for the EBC and make sure they are all properly connected where they are supposed to be and properly insulated to prevent them from shorting to other metal or wires.
