Im reaaaally liking this...alot. Single din cd/dvd player, 3.5" LCD screen, with navigation. Not sure if this one has a radio or not though... MSRP is right at $999 but I found a place that will do $675 shipped brand new in box (NOT refurbished). What do you think? A good buy for a single din navi? I really dont think I will like a 'flip-out'... kinda cheesy to me, especially in an EVO.

Oh, and it also has voice navigating too.

This is a nice unit. It has am fm cd dvd navigation and also has the hard drive built into it. iPod ready bluetooth ready also which you have to purchase those seperate. If you wnat any more info let me know we have these units up at my work if you want to come check it out!

I like the idea of a single din navi. Should look good in the EVO.

 

But not as good looking as a double din nav unit with the awe inspiring Orbital Prestige kit. I hear that the JVC double din nav unit is also pretty damn impressive. That single din unit is ok but will probably look a little bulky.

 

Yeah.. I found a pic of an Evo with one in it already. It does look a 'little' bulky, but I think it would be alright. I really have wanted NAVI for a while because I am terrible with directions & sometimes need help getting to my destination.

If you've gotta go single din (no Orbital double din for you) than this isn't a bad option. I agree with you...don't like the flip up screens. Just go for it dude!

 

it lookss like it would be a REAL b*tch to input addresses etc with no touchscreen. take that into consideration *** ease of input is a huge factor with navi's

 

i used to have the jvc with the dvd player only jvc avx2 i believe was the model # and it doesnt looks as bulky if you switch it with gauges and place it on the lower part of console
