I need to know the maximum depth double-din head unit that can be installed in the Evo's dash (with and without bending/cutting). This is assuming a surround kit like the Orbital is installed, of course.

Other info that would help:

- Depth of the stock radio?
- depth of any aftermarket head units? (Or simply the model numbers of ones you think are on the deeper side). This particulary applies to double din, but deep single units may give some hints.
- Anything that gives me some idea...

 

Not sure. Hopefully LayinLo takes a look at this. That dude seems to have all that type of information stored in his head somehow
