What security system works best?

I just bought my Evo MR and am paranoid as hell when I park it at work, at the store, anywhere. I need an alarm system that will detect if a car hits it, or someone kicks it, etc... cuz I will kill! haha.

Suggestions please!

viper alarms are a decent aftermarket system.

Any DEI brand (Hornet, Viper, etc) or Compustar are pretty good. Do some searching in this section and you'll find a few threads about alarms.

I've had a Viper system on my '02 BMW, my Jeep, and the Evo. Look into it, it's worth the $$$$.

alarm

I've had a viper 791XV alarm system on my evo for a little more than a year and a half now. I've had no problems whatsoever except for the fact that my clip broke on the remote. It has both turbo timer and remote start, locks the doors once the engine is started, and has an impact sensor whereby if I slam the trunk too hard when the alarm is on it will go off. The remote has a good range, and will beep if the alarm has been triggered.

A angry fat ugly chick in the passenger seat, .45 cal on the waist, Trunk Monkey, and a huge tub of **** lub on the dash.

Garage and a viper alarm is a good start. Mainly just try your best to keep it out of site. Less attention is always a good thing when dealing with thieves and vandals.
