Pioneer AVIC-D3 + Orbital Double Din

Well I just got the headunit installed along with a JL W-3 Sub (12"), Alpine Amp, and some Focal Components and 6.5's. I'm running the speakers just off of the headunit for now but I'll be getting another amp in a couple of weeks, I wasn't going to but there's a big difference in sound quality. They Dynomat'd the Inner/Outer skin of the front doors and Outer skin of rear doors and trunk lid. I love it. The wife likes the DVD and of course I got that E-brake thing bypassed. Well here's a couple real crappy pics I took tonight. I suck at taking pictures....especially in the dark because it does no justice. Enjoy

thanks. I told them they could fill the back section up where it's narrow. I just needed space for my golf clubs and shoes. it's deceiving because the box takes up that whole back section. I didn't want them to sacrifice sound quality from the sub to save a little space.

Thanks for the comments guys....I'll have better pics up later. By the way I thought the box was pretty light considering the size. Oh by the way the freak'n doors are so solid now. Cut down on road noise big time and very solid and firm when you close the doors. I know not everyone is into systems but I had to get something because this stock radio is by far the worst sounding one I've ever had and with all the road noise and my TBE/NO CAT I really had to turn up the volume which sounded like ***.

I just installed mine. I have a 2005 Magnum daily driver and I just dumped some of the pioneer line into it as advertisement.

How'd you bypass the ebrake? I was told today to go to avic411.com or something like that for the cheat on how to do it.

Honestly I don't know. I had it installed and the installer doesn't normally do it but I knew him. I'd have to ask him.

Real nice setup man!!! But for that box size, you could go with 2 12" for little more base.

Yeah the orbital engineering kit. don't know if they're still making them. you can do a search on them. I know some guys are selling the the kit that they bought because they changed their minds.

Nice

I'm planning to do the same setup on my MR. I just have to figure out where to put the stock gauge clu7ster, or whether or not i want to keep the BAR gauges instead of upgrading to some Defis. Lovin it!!
