quesiton about alarm installation

i installed my viper 5002 and i searched and found no answer for either of these 2 questions

question 1.) how can i install my alarm without it not working properly with my greddy turbo timer. i installed it now so that i can leave the car running with the turbo timer and arm the system but since i am using an aux wire instead of an ignition wire to trick the alarm it won't stop my car from starting with the system armed.

question 2.) How can i use the alarm to power the flashers ? i don't want to use the hazards since its a soft switch type thing. ( i only have one wire to feed + or - voltage for the lights) i was thinking of using diodes to prevent all lights flashing at the same time if i connected both the left and right side to the one signal wire feeding power.
( example Left lights wire, Diode <- that direction, 12 volts, Diode -> that direction, Right lights wire.) Would that work?? and what type of diodes should i use that i can pick up from radioshack?? (the alarm gives 12 volts at 10amp for this system)

thanks!!!!

First, you made part two too difficult. You connect the Flasher lead to your parking light switch wire, not your blinkers.

as for the first part.... you didn't phrase your question clearly... I'm not sure what your question is... If you connected the arm wire to the switched AUX wire, then when you pull the key, the alarm is armed and the anti-start will not function. The anti-start has nothing to do with the engine running, it is just a relay between the starter solonoid wire, and will be armed when you arm the system.

lol sorry well let me rewrite it again. and thanx for responding.

1.) i have a turbo timer. i connected my alarm's wire that is suppose to go to the the ignition wire to an aux wire, because if the ignition wire is still getting 12volts than the alarm wont arm. since i have a turbo timer the ignition wire remains hot and the system doesn't arm until the engine turns off. but connected to an aux wire i can arm the system while the car remains on running off the turbo timer. the only bad part about doing this is that this disables the alarms ability to stop the engine from cranking while the system is armed. (after the car is off lol) (this is confirmed reading the troubleshooter in the install manual, it says that if the engine disabler isn't working than the ignition wire is connected to an aux wire. which i did on purpose.)

i want to know is there a way i can get my alarm to work how i currently have it set up but for the engine disabler to work also???

when you say "engine disabler", do you mean "starter kill"? Have you tried to start the car with the alarm armed?

The reason I ask is because I have installed countless turbo timers into cars with alarm systems, and hooked up the switched power wire to the AUX area and they all worked fine.

As long as you have your starter kill relay hooked up correctly, as soon as the switched power from the alarm sees a loss of 12V signal regardless of how it's hooked up, the alarm should cut 12V power to the relay making it impossible to start.

on the alarm... (now this is from memory)

Yellow to 12V constant source
Red to 12V switched AUX source.

on the starter kill relay. if it's a normally open relay (which it should be)

one wire to ground
one wire to the alarm starter kill trigger wire
then two poles spliced into your starter relay solonoid wire.

If your alarm is arming, then the starter kill should work. if the starter kill isn't working, it sounds like the starter kill relay isn't wired correctly.

It's hard to do this without a wiring diagram in front of me.

Hell, you're in Daytona Beach, I'm in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral. Why don't I just drive up there this weekend or you drive down here and I'll help you out, PM me if you'd like the help.
