So how do you like the unit? How would you rate the Nav? If you've used Garmin (which I think is pretty good...easy to use, reasonably intuitive) could you compare to that? Other features/aspects of the unit...the good and the bad?

Install is lookin' good.

I guarantee you any custom fibreglass shop is going to cost you 600+ to do the work. The Metra Honda Accord kit that incorporated the a/c for 05 was 135. This is two seprate peices of better quilaty. To each his own.

Metra makes MUCH better quality kits. Have you actually seen the orbital kit in person? The plastic has no resemblance to the oem dash and the texture is down right nasty in feel. I agree that 300 bucks is WAY too much for what they are selling but I would do the same thing if I was orbital. Milk the cow while you can.

Your guarantee is shot. My stero shop has already given me an estimate for a full double din fiberglass kit that would match the stock single din plastic piece with a relocation kit for under $600 (actually, it would be slightly less than an orbital kit brand new)....it is people I trust....not to mention, I know when I can get it unlike this company that people seem to rave so much about....and actually be able to talk to someone at this shop unlike orbital. I've never dealt with orbital and based on the countless threads that just make me shake my head, I never will. If I ever decide on double din, it will NOT be an orbital kit....EVER. In the meantime, I'm happy with a single din audiophile setup.
