"...a price that won't break your wallet. Available for as low as $295" That's supposed to be a low price for a bracket???!!! Am I missing something? I've never paid more than $50 for a bracket and wiring harness in any of my cars

I still say they are price gouging and that price alone convinces me NOT to go double din, but hey if some people are willing to pay an exorbitant price for what appears to be a large plastic bracket, more power to them. I just refuse to give money to a company that knows they are the only game in town so they charge an obscene amount of money and make it look like they are offering this great service (along with long backorders) to Evo owners at such a low price. I'll just stick with a single din and have the ability to utilize 5 volt preouts. Anyways, end of rant.
EDIT: just as an additional thought, being a custom made bracket doesn't mean much to me. Every other bracket I have ever owned in any car I've done installs on were custom brackets and all required custom wiring harnesses as well and none ever broke $50. Being that this is a two piece kit, I'd be willing to pay $100 for the kit without a wiring harness, beyond that I just don't see the justification.
