Can someone suggest what the best fitting US brand CF hood is - I assume the JDM ones are, but due to price, I might rather settle for a USDM one - I know stock hood is lighter by a pound, but this CF hood sort of makes the car look better and complete, per say!

IDK but the seibon hood I had cracked by the vent area. IMO you get what you pay for

 

My Seibon works and fits fine with no issues...

 

i have had my seibon for a year and a half and i love it.....fitment was prolly a 8 out of 10....has a few small gaps but you have to really look at it to notice them...

 

Seibon No Problem But Use The Orginal Plastic Part Of Your Orginal Hood On Carbon(up Side Of Headers)

 

Spend the money, buy JDM! My Chargespeed hood fits perfect and the weave is flawless.

In my opinion it's just a matter of quality control. If you get a bad batch, or they overlook QC, you get a hood that doesn't fit. I'd stick with OE.
