cheapest place to get a avic d3

I have seen them from anywhere between 599 and 1000. Anybody know where the best place to get one is. Audio is not exactly my bread and butter. I know crutchfield is good but im not paying a G for one.

PS what is better the avic-d3 or the sony xavw1?

im looking for the best for the money

Justin...you should be coming to me for questions like this! Just like I should be going to you for questions about go-fast parts!

Anyhow, check out www.sonicelectronix.com. Will likely be the best price you'll find from a legit company.

Very True!!!!! You don't have to work there. Just try to be friendly with the employee on the stereo dept. maybe some joy ride with you Evo! Once they knew you have Evo they want to be your friend. Then you can get anything for a cheap cost price thru your new buddy!

I would skip the Sony stuff. The majority of their car audio stuff is crap (based on the all the test articles I've read over the years).

The D3 is the right choice. I actually considered it when building my system, but it didn't have the right sound quality that I needed for my system. Don't get me wrong though, the D3 will work perfect for what you want.

try going to www.cnet.com and type that it.. Give you reviews from the critics and users reviews and similar products. Also gives you tons of links to sites that you can buy it based on price. Also stats ratings of the site.

Go with the D3. It's got Navi built in. The Sony doesn't.
