There is a grommet on the passenger side behind the strut tower. It will come out behind the glove box inside the car. That's the only open hole in the firewall to follow into the car. There are other ways, but that is the easiest.

Could you suggest the other ways to route the cable to the battery. I'll be doing a sound system soon myself and I've used up the grommet on the passenger side with my water injection lines and cables. The only other way I would know is to drill through the firewall to create another opening. Thanks.

You can run it through the drivers side fender, like the stock wires are ran. You would have to send the wire from the fender under the hood to the location in the kick panel area. Its not fun, but can be done. Easiest way to do that is to take the wheel off, and the wheel well. Or like others have said, the grommet on the passenger side. I ran 2 guage through there, so 0 guage wouldnt be too much bigger.

The hole on the passenger side is the easiest. If you've already used it, there are a couple other options. First, you can alway drill a new hole through the firewall. Just be sure to check both sides, check it again and then check it again before you drill so that you don't drill through something important. If you aren't 110% sure, then you shouldn't drill. Second, there is also a way to route the wire over the driver side strut tower, down through the door opening and into the cabin through the grommet where all the door wires go. It's not ideal, but it does work.

Good luck.

Like adambl03 said, using the door grommet is not a way to go. As it does work, its super ghetto. That is the last place I would run my power wire.

by the master cylinder on the left side(if you are in front of the car) there is clearance on both sides to drill a hole i drilled on big enough for 0 gauge then went to lowes to get a grommet that would fit in that size hole and sealed it with silicone ..........on the routing part if you take off the lower side panels and pull up the carpet you will see holles on the fram that the seats bolt down on and you can fish it through there hope this helps ill post pics if need be
