in dash lcd monitor

I'm trying to install an lcd monitor in addition to a separate head unit so that I can install a carputer in my car to the monitor, and the head unit for music. The lcd monitor has four wires, two are ground, one red wire says ACC and other yellow wire says DC +12V. My clarion head unit is connected to the red harness wire and also the yellow wire which says memory wire. It works fine. I decided to connect the lcd monitor to the same wires. I connected the ACC red wire to the red, and yellow DC+12V to the yellow.

The monitor doesn't power on at all. Any ideas? Is it because I have both hooked up to the same power source? If so, then why does my head unit work perfectly yet no power at all to the monitor? Do I have the red wire and yellow wire switched around?
