Clean, very clean. I really like the simplicity of your setup. Alpine is a great company and the R series have great sound quality.

Did you have any trouble with fitting the type R's in the doors? Did they fit right in, or did you use an adapter plate. Any spacers used?

guys the new enclosure is about 12lbs, we had to put 35lbs on the website for shipping purposes, since we ship this enclosure in a 19x19x19 box we get billed on like 30lbs so that is ONLY for shipping estimates.

CLean install! I can't justify $330 for a box though.. that's expensive!! More than the Alpine sub and amp..

Thinking about picking up at set of Type R's myself. You bought the 6.5's right? Did you not want to try getting a component setup for the front with a tweeter?

^ Yeah $330 is definately up there, I'm just wondering if there is any trunk rattle with that setup, I have just a regular huge box taking up all my room and with 2 - 12s it rattles my trunk apart. Can't really hear it outside the car either kinda sucks :/

I think i only paid like 220 for the box. i called and asked if i could get a deal. and as far as teweeters go..i accually ordered the wrong speakers, i forgot to order the components... oh well it still sounds good.

There is barely any trunk rattle whatsoever. the only thing that rattles is my license plate bracket which i fixed by putting a little rubber sticky piece on the backside of it.

-the amp is like 400$ but i got it for around 220 on ebay... not sure how but it was brand new never opened.

-Speakers i paid 65$ a set! also found those EXTREMELY cheap on ebay, brand new.

- head unit was used by a friend orig 220, paid 100 with ipod adapter.

-box 225 i think

-wire set 45

TOTAL = $720

Thanks again for the good words!
