a little something different
This is actually a really great thread. The both of us are doing two different setups.
Cain is using component speakers while I'm trying to use actual 'subs'. I'm having a hard time finding the airspace but stay tuned cause I think the both of us have two really great ideas that a lot of Evo owners would enjoy.

Well here is my 90% finished product. Now before the stereo elitist come in and talk about my craftsmanship this is the first time I've ever built anything with wood
I still gotta tweak the measurements a bit to get that perfect fit. Most evo owners probably won't like this set up cause it requires a lot of modifications to the backseat that are permanent. But anyone that knows anything about subs knows airspace can make or break your day. So before anyone ask yes the backseat was cut and the box goes into the trunk about 3".
I'm sure I probably could've used a good mid-woofer that didn't require as much space thus saving my backseat but I wanted to maximize my boom.

^^^ your enclosure looks pretty good, now just shave the corners, sand it and wrap it.
i will try to take some more pics of the old one with measurements this weekend since i yanked my seat out yesterday in preparation for the new fiberglass one to go in.
