70 dollars a square yard for suede, needed about one and a half yards for dash, colum and doors.

the foam stuff was dirt cheap and the adhesive was like 20 dollars the thread was pretty cheap for the stitching.

night and day! literally, its non existent now. like absolutely none, the stitching really adds to to dopeness (excuse the horrible vocabulary choice for lack of a better one.)

the 50% tinted windshield helps allot as well but even with a 50% tinted windshield the glare was killing me before this. now i can comfortably drive around on the brightest california days with out squinting. thanks to the windshield and this.

did you stitch it yourself? I'm thinking red to match my SE seats would be FIRE

its a "false" stitch, it is only 1 piece folded over and stitched to itself.

give me a call if you want more info (pm me for contact info)

i originally had red to match my SE seats but it looked outrageously ricy. like horrid. its just to much contrast for a piece like the dash. and with red you see every mistake, and how it doesn't perfectly follow the contours of the dash (since its false stitched.) so i re-did it in black. while it was still out of the car. and i love the subtlety. it looks real nice in black, almost factory.

yeah it's definetly a PITA, thanks for the help. i found it was best to use a ton of adhesive on the dash to the padding then a lot less to the fabric on top of the padding. if you use enough adhesive required to bond the fabric to the dash it goes through the fabric and looks like hell. but if you put the pad down it does the trick.

ive wrapped headliners and pillars before but this was my first dash, and the door cards were the biggest pain though with the stitching and what not.

anywase thanks again!

Nice work! I like that it isn't overdone. Just enough suede to make it look good, but not too much to make it look like a Lambo =X

Off topic: lol @ your sig.
