Pretty cool.

I think the stock Evo steering wheel would benefit greatly from the suede.

I find the stock wheel a bit slippery at times.

EvoKnievo - are you going to scotch guard it or apply some other product that would help with fading? I would assume just like everyone's black t-shirts that they fade. The same should apply to suede...

nah, i have a 50% tinted windshield so that should substantially help any fading issues. however if it does turn purple i will just re do it. its pretty easy after youve done it ounce or twice.

then i could wrap it in burberry print and hang out at west coast customs with my homie x to the zibit.

j/k obviously i would never do that.

looks good but what about the passenger air bag? in a crash would this tear open as on Lamborghini's they have stitching around the airbag ready to split. as i'm interested in doing this myself.

^ dude, your guess is as good as mine.

i think in a extreme scenario it rip the top part of the dash out. or possibly worse....

thats why its disconnected.

I wanna see more picks too!!!

I want to wrap the dash as well to get rid of the glare. Only problem with alot of suedes is they fade. My buddy works at an apolstery shop which does really good work, and they are testing several types. So far its been 8months everyday with the pieces in the sun (probably not on weekends though)...

They recommend using alcantara for dark colors, it has good fade resistance to their experience, but ~$100 a yard.
