and all he gave me was one (1) key. yet when i opened my dash, i found all of the following in the picture.

he said he only had one key the whole time, and no alarm key fob

im worried he has another key and will come get my car later when i "forget" about him. is there anything i can do about this?

 

change to a different alarm system?

 

I would just get a new fob for that alarm itself; you can reprogramm new fobs and disable old ones.

Or change the lock cylinders(door/trunk and ignition)
