Sirius/Alpine question

I just purchased an iDA-X300. I found it to fit my desires the best and was cheap, which is unusual for me. I have had Sirius for almost 3 years and want to add it to my Evo. I have found 2 tuners, one offerred by Sirius and one by Alpine. Are there any differences? The Sirius unit is cheaper and much more available than the Alpine unit is.

The Sirius unit is SIR-ALP1 and the Alpine is KCASC100 and SC-C1.

It shouldn't matter as its Ai-NET compatible.

yes, find out which one is compatible with your radio. some tuners, even though they may have the same connections, may not display what you are listening to. (song, artist, album, category, etc)

Which tuner did you end up using? I'm in the market for one now. Had the Sirius Sir-Pnr2 for my Pioneer before, you can program your favorite sports team and the tuner will broadcast all their games.

The quality would be better if you went with the alpine, and you can control it through the deck while having the external unit being controlled through the sirus unit itself
