What do you have for a headunit? How are the levels on the headunit set? Try running a ground wire the size of your remote wire from the amplifier and ground it to the frame of the headunit. It may help. If it does, either your headunit or that amp has issues.

head unit? do you mean the sterio? well its a old kenwood and the strange thing is that i cant find the ground on the sterio i switched out the amp its still doing the samething, so its not the amp. i think is the sterio cause when i bought the car it came with it but when i took out the sterio all the cables were cut so i cant even put a cable harnest on. I dont even know if that matters or not?????

You can try grounding the headunit(stereo) itself to something metal in the car. The headunit might have internal problems.

yea i think so, if not am just going to buy a new headunit and have it profesionaly done. One more question, i think am going to put some tweeters what happens if i can hear the engine through it? can you completly get the noise off? or a simple sound filter would do the job?

If you are hearing engine noise through your speakers, that's an indication of either a bad ground, badly shielded RCA's being run right next to your power cable to the amp, or both in my experience.

Run it on the other side of the car. A bad ground is the usual culprit. Whatever you do, don't get a filter. It's only a bandaid for an underlying problem. There is no reason you can't get your system noise free. Just don't get the cheapest rca cables you can find. You don't have to get anything fancy either.
