Exclamation ELectrical Draw---need help

Hello, I have a 2003 EVO 8. No real engine management. Just an ecu flash and a turbo timer. I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but i was wondering if someone could help out. I changed out my stock battery for an AMS small battery kit and i also installed aftermarket intercooler piping yesturday. It had the problem before but not nearly as noticeable. But today i got home from work and i was rolling up my windows, all four, and i noticed that the RMPs dropped and my check oil light came on. It never had a big enough draw to drop the rpms that low or have the check oil light come on. I have read before, I think evom, that this could be a problem of the alternator. I wanted to make sure that this could be the only possibility. And I was also wondering if there was a way to get rid of that draw completely? Thanks Josh

Let the car idle for 10 minutes after warmup so it can learn how to idle again.

figured it out. The battery terminals were worn out enough to not clamp on the new battery
