My car starts even after a week of sitting. We'll see how it fares in the coming MN winter!

AMS and Buschur just slap their sticker over the Odyssey P680 so don't think they're selling you some special battery.

My friend here has run that battery for 2 winters now with no issues except after the cars been sitting for longer than a week.

The mini batterys work just as good as a battery you'd buy for a turbo diesel truck. They're the same thing that honda uses in some of their passenger cars and their odyssey. Just find the one with the cold cranking amps you want. If you have issues with one, its probably something else causing it. Battery drain, weak alternator, etc.

What's the reserve like on the mini batteries? I sometimes like to sit in the car and listen to music with the engine off. Will a mini battery die faster than a full size battery?

I figured out the problem. The sock terminals might be a little bit bigger than the mini battery. That or my terminal clamps are just old. But the positive clamp was extremely loose even though the clamp was tightened all the way. The negative clamp was snug enough to stay on. But due to the terminal clamps, the battery wouldnt get properly charged. I thought it was the alternator but it isnt. So before you change out alternators i would check your terminal clamps.

Also i wouldnt recomend anything more in the car than just a cd player because if you hold all four window switches at the same time the voltage drops alot and caused my rpms to drop quick.

Yes a mini batt will discharge faster. check out the batt that you want and look at the Battery Ratings to see the AMP-HOUR RATING...

for any other batt q??? check out this page: http://www.dcbattery.com/faq.html
