You can always take it apart and try and fit it. Or get an extra box and try and fit it in. They are normally cheap on ebay. If the stock is 8 inch, it won't fit.

no that wont work either... i tried it and if you look at the inside of the box its really really small and shallow... what i did to make it work with an aftermarket sub is added on to the front of it by making three rings out of mdf wood to extend the front out so that the sub will fit in there depth wise. i put a fosgate 8 inch sub in there and it worked pretty well.

Even if its a 10", I dont think it will fit... The POS factory box was made for that speaker which has a tiny magnet, and if you upgrade the speaker which will most likely have a larger magnet, it wont fit. That POS lil box is starving ANY speaker of air space, and will not perform to most peeps liking.

I had the stock box in the trunk, and took it out and replaced it w/a 15"/custom box. I didnt check the size of the speaker, (sorry) just ripped it out and put it in the garage...

I had the stock box with a pioneer shallow mount 10" in it and it kept burning up voice coils due to too little space. You will have to trim the hole to fit a 10 in there and it isn't gonna sound that great once you get it in anyway, so my recommendation from experience is to get something else. I replaced it with a 10W3 in a regular square box and just made a custom bracket to hold it in place.

There is a store on ebay that I saw that is making boxes to go into the rear corner of the trunk that's made for either a 10 or a 12 depending on your application. I remember it being pretty cost effective. I already had a custom one made. Oh well. Not to mention what came from the factory is probably not that great anyhow!
