I dont own an EVO but I am interested in putting stock EVO RECARO seats in my car. Seems like a cheaper alternative than buy new RECARO SPORT seats. I can obviously tell the different btwn the SPORT and EVO but do the differences end there?

Basically RECARO SPORTs are made in a RECARO fty but are EVO RECAROs made in a MITSUBISHI Plant and they just have a license to use the name and design???

na Mitsu may have spent $2.37 on the paint and $6.77 on the interior, but they did spend the real money to put proper seats in.

They are real Recaros, and very decent seats for a factory piece!

 

the evo's recaro are oem real recaro and even more expensive than the aftermarket genuine recaro's.

 

i dont understand why some people are offended by the question. Cuz i dont own an evo???

LOL, i spoke to WEDGE, he said nothing about EVO RECARO being fake FYI. I just read somewhere and wondered myself thats all.

hahah...1 of my buddies with a gsx went to the stealership for the hell of it to see what the evo IX recaros cost and they wanted $5k per front seat and $2k for the back!!! According to the stealership our cars have $12k in Recaro seats in them!

 

If it's not real, then what else is it? Knock off? Faux?

 

lol tell me about it. I've been playing with Evos for years, and I have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Eng from U of Michigan Ann Arbor, I even do engine performance and calibration all day long at my job...

yet I am a noob lol
