wiring

dont know if this is the right place for this so if not mods please move

anyone know a 12v source under the drivers side or what color wire a 12v is?

what are you trying to run? not all things in the car have constant 12V power. But if thats what your looking for, splice into the head unit power.

im trying to wire my uego wideband i have it tapped into where my boost gauge is wired right now which is tapped into a green wire which i htink is the headlights cause it only turns on when i turn them on so im looking for somethign that will turn it on when the car is on

i took apart the radio last night and pulled the harness but what wire do i tap into? theres quite a few

Go to the fuse block, find the radio fuse and follow the wire out of the fuse.

i look at the fuse block but its all harnesses too plugged in, it seems impossible just to follow one wire

EDIT: Directechs says radio 12v red/black and ignition blue/yellow. I must have punched in the wrong car. The color is blue with a yellow stripe. That's what color/color means.

sweet ill go check it out but when you say white/black does that mean the wire is white and black or its either a white or black wire?

according to the manual, the red black wire goes to the battery

the blue/yellow wire goes to the ignition switch.

can anyone confirm this? OR did i miss something?

You are right, I punched in the car in directwire and it said different colors this time. HAHA
