small battery kit and audio

Is it possible to run an audio system with small battery kit.
aftermarket head unit
kicker interior speakers
kenwood amp 300rms powering 2 kenwood 10" subs
will this work or will it kill the battery and need to install a trunk battery to power it.

I was trying to research this yesterday as well, but couldn't find anything. However, I was reading a post about mini batts in the northern states and it seems kind of hit or miss. One thing that did catch my attention though was someone said that they were running a smaller battery from a Civic, which allowed him to run his short route UICP and had decent CCA's. This will probably be the route that I go, and just fab up a new battery tray.

I have a mini battery kit and I am running a diamond 600 watt amp with a set of separates and a single 12. I have not any issues with this setup for the past couple of years.

not with MAPs' Mini Batt but I can't speak for anything else. I think that ModularTurbo makes their mini batt and they have a killer reputation on LS1tech for makin good parts. I have a camaro also thats how I found out about it.

Just keep in mind, the mini battery's are for starting "ONLY!" You can get away with audio systems that do not pull hard off your electrical systems. But any big RMS systems or peak systems, may damage the battery.
