Ok so tonight I locked my car and activated the alarm as usual. After doin so let's just say my remote is no long with us. Then when I went to drive home tonight ihad to use my key to unlock my car. Well doing so triggered my alarm. I could not get the damn thing to stop since I didn't have my remote. I then got under my dash with a flashlight and unplugged one of the connectors to the "aftermarket" brain box for the alarm. Doing so got it to shut up. Lol. So....
Now what do I do?
Everytime I even touch the connection the alarm goes crazy-so how would I even reprogram another remote to it?
Also its a aftermarket clifford system, yet the car came stock with a oem clifford alarm system. Anyway to sync my oem key fob?
Do you know if a viper remote would work with a clifford? I know as far as looks you can't tell the difference so I didn't know if they were related companies.

ok so i figured out how to dis-alarm the system viz the vellet button under the dash. But now i need to know if any brand remote will work? and why wouldnt the factory fob?
