Laser jammers againist modern laser guns??

Frankly, I am sick of being caught by laser. Now that they started using it on side streets here in Boston, its just getting ridiculous.

I'm on my third valentine one (latest software) and have had all escort radars including the 9500. Not going to mention the junk I've dealt with years ago like cobra, uniden, whistler and the leader..Beltronics.

My question to you is, does anyone here successfully ran laser jammers/blinders and not get caught? Im not talking about blowing by a cop at 100 hoping they wont do anything. But realistically speaking? Its hard to keep an evo at 55

More than 55 on a side street? That seems a bit excessive hah. Now if you are referring to the freeway then may I suggest moving away from the east coast As far as jammers go, I'm sure there are ones that work out there, but I am pretty sure they are illlegal. I am not saying that stops people from using them, but something to keep in mind.

Okay, apparently they are legal in most states:

Laser Jammers and Radar Jammers are illegal in the states of Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.

Consider getting the Blinder M-20 or M-40 or the Lidakek LE-30. The Blinder and the Lidatek are the only laser jammers made today that give minimal "error codes" to the police laser guns

This info was pulled from http://www.radarbusters.com

Haha, no not on a side street, I meant the freeway.
I feel like todays lasers are far too advanced for any jammer to work on, at least the ones they use on the east coast.
I got a ticket for 52 in a 35 on a huge 4lane road by laser recently. I thought I was going very slow too, that was the straw that broke the camels back.

For my experience the blinder m25 works perfect, all type of laser guns europe and usa, here in my country we have both type of laser guns and never get caught , the new blinder m27 had the option to upgrade via internet for new laser guns

otherwise as i know there are some states that are illegal to use this type of devices.

you can have the better radar detector ,but with laser guns is just imposible not to get a ticket ,they have your speed at 0.4 sec so you do not have any time to react
you can go radarbustes.com for more info

Can you explain a little more on this? Your personal experience? I read about it and saw the videos but it reminds me of the blinders which dont seem to work too well.

This stuff has gotta seem very suspicious to the cops if the gun doesnt see the speed, I wonder in how much more trouble you could get if they find it, doesnt seem like its too legal..

Thanks for the non-speeding advice, I was waiting for that smartass

Have installed them on 3 cars... they are tiny little boxes. They also do not give a "JAM" code. It shows like a miss. No speed display. They can be updated online(bata) or mail in. Also sold as a "parking sensor" it beeps as you get close to it. The instruction manual says nothing about jamming, just parking. Then again it's called a Laser Pro Park.

Another cool feature, it has a 4 sec Jam on by defaut. So it will jam for 4 seconds and then shut itself off for 60 seconds. 4 seconds should be plenty of time to get to where you need to be.

Also recommend the 2 head unit. Geat folks to deal with also. I had one head take a large stone hit and got the lens shipped free.

You MAY get in trouble pending your state... also lasers are regulated by the FDA (yes Food & Drug) not the FCC. So it may be harder to process. not many folks have these.. 95% of officers here have no clue.. it's the 5% you have to watch out for.

Yes slowing down is a good plan, then again sometimes its nice to have a buffer. I have personaly seen these work 10+ times, every time. One friend swears by it and has ordered another for the DD car.

Steed77, thank you for the info! Im definitely looking into it now. Going to go with front only first, then add on rear as the finances allow. This thign seems like the real deal! Glad I made this thread.

That 4 sec feature you're talking about is after you get shot with laser it lets you know and you have 4seconds until the LPP shuts off so the cop does get your speed?

Rock ON! I would plan for 2 on the front. 1 works good but some have reported punch-through on a rare occasion. So get one now, one later.

4sec: correct. Once it detects liadr it jams that for only 4 sec. an alarm and LED will let you know it's jammin' 60 seconds later you will get 2 short beeps letting you know it's back All automatic....

Good luck... they are fun.

V1's are rock solid. I run a 9500ix but the V1 is on the same par. 2 of the best available.

I have had a bud get a punch through on his blinder extreme @ ~200ft. that was a $$$ ticket. He does say it works well.. just that one time.
