Boy would it be a bad idea to get caught with a jammer here in cali. Although some do risk it, and turn it off after it warns them.

My question to you is, does anyone here successfully ran laser jammers/blinders and not get caught? Im not talking about blowing by a cop at 100 hoping they wont do anything. But realistically speaking? Its hard to keep an evo at 55
Only thing that will jack up the radar/liadar is a jammer. They are illegal in all 50 states and if you get caught its a sever penalty. Try finding out where the fuzz hides and slow down.

Jammers ARE illegal in all 50 states. They send a signal that can fry radar/liadar. If you think you know better.....good luck, hope you dont get caught.

It would seem they could be construed as "obstruction of justice" or some catch all law. Not too common around here yet.

Some of you guys might find this useful:

Looks like laser jammers are fine pretty much everywhere, but looking at the link below RADAR jammers are illegal everywhere under state law and federal law depending where you are;

For you guys that are concerned about money , heres a DIY on how to built radar jammers:

It amazes me how hearsay can screw up a thread, and I am no expert on this stuff!
RADAR is the acronym for radio detection and ranging. Radar operates on a radio frequency.
Forget state law! It is a federal offense to jam a radio signal so that is illegal in all 50 states.
Radar detectors are another matter. States regulate whether a DETECTOR is legal.
Laser Jammers are another matter. Lasers are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration, not the FCC. There are no federal laws against laser jammers. Some States do ban them, just as they ban DETECTORS. Check the laws in your state!
