I just got my Perrin short shifter in and I had a question before I install.

For the people that own his shifter, is it true that with the Perrin my shift knob will not sit straight up compared to stock? The way the shifter is made, seems like it'll always be bending in some sort of direction (i.e. forward towards the dash or away towards the cup holders).

What I wanted was something stockish but just with a shorter throw.

 

Yes, this is true.Your knob will sit at an angle..and you'll have to mod/dremmel your shift box..i have mine angled towards me and it doesnt bother me...I love it!

 

If you decide not to put it in the fidanza sits like stock just shorter. I love it.
