So i've had this problem for awhile now and i think its time to fix it.
1. When the lights are OFF, all lights work as they should although the left turn signal is dim.
2. When the lights are ON
- Step on brake: turn signal lights up
- Signal: brake lights blink back and forth.
- Signal + brake: brake lights blink fast (as if a light bulb was out)
BTW the right side is perfectly fine.
It's kind of hard to comprehend without a video so i did my best to show you whats goin on.

I checked the left tail harness in the driver side kick panel to look for any corroding or anthing like that but i couldnt see anything visual.

the only things i could come up with that COULD be the problem but not sure were
1. burning brownish around the bulb socket.

2. white stuff? where the pins connect (tail light)
(2 left top pins)

ANY help or info would be great cause i dont want to get raped at the dealership
. Thanks in advance.

that white stuff is electrical grease. thats normal. its kinda like an anti corrosion against moisture. that burt bulb could be the issue replace it then hope its all good. when it comes to newer cars its usually a simple fix. good luck
bro i have the same problem but on my right side but i have more problems now my fuse that controls the passenger tail light keeps going out and my a/c light controls are also out...where did u look for the loose wires i dont want to strip my car out btw... :'(
