when i press the a/c buttin on the control it doesnt click or anything. checked all the fuses and connections and they are good. bypassed the pressure switch on the high side to make sure that wasnt a problem and its still dead. ideas?

I'm having the same problem right now. The cable running from the heat/cold selector to the core was broke on mine and I replaced it figuring it would take care of the problem but no help. I can't hear my compressor kicking on either. If you figure anything out please let me know, it's hot as hell out now. lol

Have you checked the Blower Resistor? Just last month i couldnt get my ac to work. Only blew air on 4. Changed the blower resistor, right behind the glove box held in with 2 screws, and everything is back to normal now.

have refrigerant, checked all fuses, all fan positions work, cables are all good. when i push the a/c button it doesnt click or light up, keeping the system from turning on as far as i can tell. it seems like the hvac control itself is bad. thats all i can think of. i guess first i should dig into the relays to make sure i dont have a bad one.

did you by pass the compresor to see if the clutch engages? if you take the hvac controls the top plug is for the blower you can use the blue cable to supply power to the rest just not the black one... their is 3 cables with the same colors for 4 speeds... just ad +and see if it works if it does then you know is your controls if not go further down to the relay...

did you already check the power to the control switches? pin 10 should have 12v. if you don't have power to that you need to check the wiring harness.

stupid question but did you already try to swap out the control box behind the center console with a known good one? if the light isn't turning on that makes me think it is a problem with the controller.

it might be a really really simple thing. I am no expert but i had the same problem as to when i clicked the ac button it didnt do anything and it was because my degree thing was all the way to the left below 65. I put it up a notch to 65 and the ac button started working again lol.

ps: i tend to over see problems... with everything so i thought it was wiring first but then i realize how much of an epic fail i did and fixed it.
