Question evo ix ecu wont read/scan/write

So I've been messing with this for a few weeks now with no real results..

The problem - whenever I plug anything into the obd2 port - tactrix or any obd2 scanner - nothing will recognize the car.

I have updated all the drivers for the tactrix and the battery is showing 12 volts.

No fuses are blown, all the obd wires have continuity to the ecu, and none are sparking to ground on a dialectic tester. I have even tried hooking up a new ecu and nothing will read.

Hopefully someone can help me out, because I'm totally stumped on this issue

Thanks in advance!

I just purchased a tactrix cable from an Evom member today and before I did so I was reading that it does depend on the cable you get whether it will work with you car or not. In your signature you did not list your EVO model and therefore the best I can do is point you to where I read about the cable version bein important and possibly your issue.

the car will not connect to any obd2 scanner either, like advance auto parts scanners etc..

The issue is not the cable
