There is a boot underneath the driver side wheel well you can access if you pull the splash guard. The ebrake cable goes through this and you can route a power cable for your amp easily.

 

Cool. Thanks for the Evo specific info. I'll research amp installs online, I'm sure there are a ton of DIY's on what to do and what not to do and how not to blow all your new **** up and ground it properly, etc. Thanks again.

 

To add, there's also a factory hole in the firewall right behind the glovebox.

I'll probably come back and ask a few questions when I get to that point.

Right now I'm looking at 3-5 weeks turnaround on my Bilstein rebuild, and my rear bumper is currently sitting on top of a stack of NT01s, I pulled it to swap for a USDM, and have a CBE to fit the US bumper. So I hope to have the bumper & exhaust done by the time my bilsteins get back. I thought about buying the amp now, but I may wait until some stuff sells in the FS and I have money sitting in paypal. I might just buy that ARC anyway if it's a good quality amp.

 

i dont know why the mods are merging my stuff into this thread, i want my thread to get its own attention, so this way i get real results. if you merge mine into this one, people are probably just going to overlook it.
