2004 RS Rear Speakers Help

Need a little help and search wasnt helping.

I am installing speakers in my RS and easily found the wires for the front speakers but cannot see any in the rear. Does the RS only come prewired for front??? The only thing I can see is a harness that hangs down bewteen them, but doesnt work. It looks like it belongs to the rear wiper which the RS doesnt come with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

as a fellow RS owner myself, i dont believe there are prewired speaker lines so you have to run a line to them. ghetto, but thats the way it is.

You could probably find someone who has stripped the interior of their Evo and has all the wiring if you want to try and buy it and not have to do it yourself.

It shouldnt be too hard to run the wires. Should run down the driver side panels and up in the dash just fine. Ill just have to run get some speaker wire and get started. Thanks guys!

If I remember right when I looked at mine last, I think they ran all the speaker wires down the driver's side so it shouldn't be too hard at all. GL with your project!

Yeah I saw harnesses on both sides, but drivers did look easier. I copied David Buschurs setup, all I need is to find my radio delete plate (or buy one) and install the speakers and its done!

Yeah, if they are similar, my MR is stripped out and the audio wiring runs down the driverside of the car. I'd send pics of the exact wires, but it's in Al and I'm in 29palms CA.
