Viper smart start
I have installed them on several cars. They're no different than a regular remote start except they come with another module that just plugs in to allow the phone to communicate with the brain.
No, you've got two options, you can unplug the lower clutch switch altogether, or you can hook a relay up. All viper remote starts have a low current negative start wire that you can use to trigger the realy. In depth:
85- 12v ignition or constant doesn't really matter they'll both be on when you need them
86- negative start wire
87a- one wire of clutch switch
30- other wire of clutch switch
The second is the better idea as the clutch switch works normally except when remote starting.

Sweet I'll have to get the correct bypass for the security not sure which one this car takes. Is there a remote start wiring session in here. I also would like it to only remote start if the e brake is on for security

I have my lower clutch switch disabled for my remote start and can still two-step.
Remote starts have a "neutral safety wire" that has to be grounded to start the car, hook it up to the ebrake and you're good. However this WILL NOT stop the car from moving if it is in gear while starting. But it does allow for a little safer use.
Also as far as I know there isn't an actual bypass that doesn't require a key, so if you have two keys and are willing to give one up you can use it. Dei part number is 556u.
Lemme know if you have any more questions!

A wiring diagram for the alarm or car, I can get either one. If for the alarm, which model and if for the car what year/make/model. Also an email address for you (you can pm me if youd like) but idk how to post files.

I had it installed by a shop. Works like a charm.
There is a sequence u have to go through to enable it, so its pretty safe. U end up getting out of the car with it running and by pressing the lock button the car will shut down. U know for sure its not in gear.
