SSL sub amp upgrade help

Hey guys, need help with a quick question. I just bought a sub and new amp and not sure how to setup it up since the stock amp
that comes with the car has a harness. Anyone change their setup and can tell me how I go about this?

Thanks

I just used a sound converter and tapped into the rear speakers for the input. I tucked the factory sub connector in the back of the trunk trim.

I'm not sure how to set it up though using my new amp since the stock amp powers the speakers and sub

I just hooked up the amp as I would on any car but instead of plugging in the RCA jacks to the head unit it goes to the sound converter I was talking about. Leave the factory amp alone as it will still power the other speakers. If you have an aftermarket head unit then plug RCAs to that. Not sure what else there is to know

^+1 Just get a Line Output Conveter- 14.99 at best buy. Hook it up in the trunk to the rear speaker wires, plug in your rca's, and tuck it away. Everything else is the same as any other car. Good luck and if you need any more info feel free to ask.
