Key issue

So heres my dilemma, I bought an '05 VIII and had it shipped to me. The car has one key and one key only. No remote & no spare. Its also missing the trunk lock cause the previous owner traded out trunks (cf back to stock) and didnt replace the truck lock. So what are my options for getting a new key and remote without paying hundred of $'s to the dealer?

Im thinking this:
https://www.ikeyless.com/vehicles/Mi.../2005/1001819/

and program it with this:
http://www.programyourremote.com/cla...yAd.asp?id=986

Will it work?

What are my options for a trunk lock? Can I get one that will fit the key I have?

Thanks for looking...

Chris

The links you posted may work for keyless entry but they will not work for your key to start the car. The keys for these car (most cars after 1998ish) have a "chip" in them programmed to the car. Without seeing this "chip" the car won't start. In order to program a new key you have to have two working keys which you don't so unfortunately it looks like a trip to the dealer for at least the key portion. If you can find a used/new trunk lock a locksmith may be able to redo the lock to work with your key. Unsure on this one though.
